It is no secret that I adore Emily Henry and that she is no doubt my favorite romance writer.
Even in a novel like this, which has the most ridiculous situation that sets the whole story into action, she manages to make it work. It's truly impressive, really.
The story follows Daphne and Miles, two people who find each other through heartbreak.

Emily Henry does it again, in the way that only she can. This novel was heart-breaking and warm and devastating and real and beautiful. Reading this book was like drinking a cup of steaming tea next to a roaring fire in the middle of winter. I loved every broken character in this book, and the way they all found to make room for themselves and for each other.

The main characters have no chemistry whatsoever. The first 50% of the book was actually good, but as the book progressed, it felt as if it was being dragged out. The plot was practically non existent, and the author attempted to add drama by adding some characters towards the end but it did not distract me from the fact that the characters have no chemistry.
