Wow, this one was a ride. A very gripping and thrilling plot with a fast paced, edge of your seat ending. The reveal/twist at the end of the book was darker than expected and it definitely bumped my rating up. This was my first riley sager book and it certainly won’t be my last.

I really thought I wasn’t going to enjoy this as reviews were stating it was a bit slow and boring, but I really liked it! The book got me with the twist because I thought the first “twist” was actually really lame and disappointing. Thank the lord for the pivot. I also don’t know if other books by this author will address what happened to her sister or if I’m just meant to accept it starts and ends in this book. Solid 4 🌟 read.
