Mmmmkkkk....
Well, let's start with some things I liked about this book. I enjoyed the multitude of different creatures. That's one thing that Maas never fails to deliver. The creepier and crawlier the better. I also liked the FMC and MMC. They're tortured and opinionated and relatable.

This book. I don't even know if I can write a coherent review about it.
The first couple of hundred pages (especially the first hundred or so) felt like information overload. There was just too much stuff pouring into my brain at that point. But once I got through that phase, I couldn't put the book down. I don't even want to admit how much sleep I lost over reading this book. XD
The romance is a slow burn and builds throughout most of the book. I really liked Bryce and Hunt, both as separate char ...more

While I really enjoyed a lot of this one, I definitely had some issues with it too. There were several characters that I loved and some good tearjerker moments, but several character reactions just didn't ring true and the book was about 300 pages too long. That being said, I'm definitely planning on reading more of the series because I always enjoy a good SJM book, even if it has some issues.
