I absolutely loved the banter in this book. It made me happy at moments and sad the next. The characters are all so relatable, and the part where they realize they are grown ups and that life has changed really struck home with me. It's hard to find those friends that adapt with you, and when you find those friends it's almost scary how much you love them. Overall, I can't wait to read more of Emily Henry's books!! ...more

This was a cute story and I overall liked it. I liked the characters, especially the banter between Wyn and Harriet (though I can absolutely not picture these characters having those names lol!). I enjoyed the found family theme of the story. I also think it does a good job of jumping between past and present without being confusing. I did come into this with pretty high expectations from the hype of the book and while I enjoyed it, I did not think it was particularly life-changing.

⭐️3.75 i think the book is definitely overhyped but that doesn’t make it a bad book. it was a cute story and it was a good reflection about how friendships aren’t the same as we get older and relationships between young adults and their parents. i would really like to see a book to come out about what happens next or would have liked a epilogue. i think i just didn’t connect with these characters like i would have needed to rate it higher than i did.

I cried, ok I cry in a lot of scenarios. It’s good. Around the middle the main characters get a little annoying, and there are a few time where if people would just talk all their problems would be easier. But I liked the way the book ended and love the idea behind it.

Just some of the relationships within are a bit, young? Like they havnt learned how to talk about their lives?

I absolutely love the way that these characters were written, and I love the different relationship dynamics amongst them all. This book was so good! Not only was it fast paced and entertaining, but it also contained some important life lessons and themes.
