OH MY GOD THE ENDING??? I haven't read a book that in ending left with me needing to set the book down and stare at a wall; in a VERY long time. I feel like half or so of the book was very slow burn, but with just the right amount of intrigue to keep the reader engaged and going. By the end pieces of the puzzle where the reader is left hanging throughout the book rapidly start coming together and it becomes a race to get to the finish in an absolute panicked page turner. I had such high expectations for this. It was really slow until like 60%, the twist was not what I expected tho!!!!

I like how the ending is basically up for interpretation since it ends with the police man reading Alicia’s diary to Theo. I wish we got more of Kathy’s POV tbf

Whattttttt... this book is crazy! I did not see the ending coming and I'm shocked. I need to go back and re read it because I see everything through a different light now.

I really liked the sense of urgency this book carried throughout whatever point the plot was at. I like the premise and the setting and easpecially the meaning behind the ending. Amazing! ...more
