Finally getting into SJM and I’m pleasantly surprised that I liked it this much. Based on the spoiler free reviews, comments and TikTok edits I’ve seen, I thought this would be barely a 3 star read for me. I definitely get why the girlies go crazy because the males in this book 😏😈🤗🤤🥰.

The only thing I’m slightly confused about: everyone kept saying Tamlin is 👎🏽🤢 but I’m not getting that at all ?!?!????¿¿ I definitely love Rhys 🥰 but like I could’ve sworn enough people said it was this book that ...more

This series has been on my TBR for too long! I must say the first book did not disappoint; I’ve been hooked since page 1! I’m sure I’d finished in a day had I started on a weekend. So glad I bought the series!

I’ll start by saying that this was my first fantasy read. I never thought it would be a genre I would dip into but I’m so glad I did!

It started out verrrrrry slow for me in the beginning. With having never read fantasy before, I was so lost and confused just trying to make sense of the characters and the wording.

About half way through is when I started to love it!! It really picked up at the end with suspense and curiosity of what was going to happen next.
