This was just a sad story, but not as weird as I was expecting it to be.
It was discouraging to see how Gregor was treated after turning into a bug and almost infuriating to read about his family’s attitudes and actions while caring/hiding him. It’s unfortunate to see that his family was capable of working on their own, they had just chosen to rely on Gregory’s work and income.
