This is now my new favorite novel.
It has everything that love stories can and should be about, and it's also not all lovey dovey. It's more about "our charming heroine" as Saraphina (Phina for short) has been dubbed in the character listing (near the back of the book). I could identify with her and understand everything she was going through. It's an emotional journey throughout, because we're living through her eyes.
