Hmmm.... having now read a lot of Poirot books I must say that the love this book gets really surprises me. Alongside Death on the Nile I think it’s frankly ludicrous.
No spoilers but it has a rather common Poirot ending which I disliked. It’s also essentially impossible to guess the reveal which quite a few Poirot books do. The best ones give you some clues at least, this really doesn’t.
Go read the better (lesser known) ones instead.

Indescribably amazing
I had seen the movie before, so I was spoiled for the ending, but it was pretty well written from what I gathered.
