Over the last couple of years I have been working my way through Agatha Christie's writing in publication order. Agatha has been my favorite author since I was 9 and spent a summer reading through some old Poirot paperbacks I found at a garage sale.

Unexpectedly good. It was my first read of the Poirot series. The murder case was very hard to figure out until the ending (which is usually the problem with most books and movies, the ending is obvious). There were also some French expressions here and there usually in conversations, they are easy to understand for someone who knows some French but I would say their meaning can be deducted from the context as well.
