I listened to the audio version, which is narrated by Dan Stevens. It didn't hurt that I pictured him reading the book to me.
Anyway, about this book. It is possibly the best closed circle mystery ever written, and Agatha Christie was a sly one. If you've not read Christie, start here.

I got this lovely edition from my wife who complains always that there are too many in books in our house but always keeps giving me more as she knows me that love is keeping me in books and I take care of the cooking.

Nothing could spoil a relaxing trip on a train, or so Poirot thought. After the great detective hears word a man has a target against him, he is found dead in his compartment. A gruesome demise also as not only are the details on the victim grisly but Poirot might have a most unusual case. That is unless he never makes it out of the train caught in a terrible snowstorm.

It has been a long time since I last read a Christie, and I had forgotten just how infuriating some of her endings could be. I enjoyed the ride though, as I always do.
