You know that you are reading an amazing author's work when he makes you feel bad for the thieving, rude, and mean pirate Skandians when their ship gets battered and broken. To make matters worse, it is winter time and they are going to have to take apart their ship so that they can make huts and have wood to make fire. Now, the main goal in these men's greedy lives is to rob from others and destroying property and killing people is of no consequence.

I truly loved this book i thought it was great and it intertwines quite nicely with the end of the the fifth one (nasty cliff hangers) but this book certainly makes up for the lack of a good ending with the usurper Keren inside the castle with Alyss at his disposal he can literally control Will but luckily he doesn't seem to notice that. finally at the end Will finally attacks Macindaw. ...more
