It was hilarious, yet respectful of trauma and grief and made me feel so happy and gooey inside I can't wait to read the rest of the trilogy! Josh is one of my favorite mmc's ever and his inner monolog is absolutely laugh out loud hilarious.

bad bad baddddd, the writing is so cringe and the FMC is so constantly annoying. I came to this book for a spicy romance and instead I got some mafia story?? Tf??
A solid 3 stars. It was a good book and a nice break after a streak of thrillers and romantasies. There were A LOT of crazy spicy scenes — definitely could’ve dialed that back a bit — but the plot was funny and entertaining. The story is completely unserious and absolutely unhinged in the best way, which made it a wild ride from start to finish.
