I typically avoid dark romances and don’t usually fall for the morally gray male main characters (MMCs). However, I decided to give “Lights Out” a chance, using my monthly allotment of audiobook hours from Spotify. I’m soooo glad I did!

A solid 3 stars. It was a good book and a nice break after a streak of thrillers and romantasies. There were A LOT of crazy spicy scenes — definitely could’ve dialed that back a bit — but the plot was funny and entertaining. The story is completely unserious and absolutely unhinged in the best way, which made it a wild ride from start to finish.
