I enjoyed this novel a lot. It was a look at one year (1938) from one woman's point of view. It celebrated that era and New York City. Friendship, romance, class "rules," and secrets were the main components. I loved the Katey's conversations. She was rarely at a loss for words and was full of cutting remarks; maybe a bit unrealistic but enjoyable.
