This entertaining mystery, set in San Francisco, has an intricate plot with many twists and turns, a number of engaging characters, and delectable food descriptions.

The central character is Vera Wong, a sixty-year-old widowed woman who owns a failing tea shop in Chinatown. She is a lively, driven person who brews unique teas and cooks up a storm every chance she gets.

One morning, as she is about to head out for her morning walk, she discovers a dead man, Marshall Chen, on the floor of her shop.

Despite the fact that this book coming out in 2023 has pushed back the publication of A is for Aunties 3 (which I have been eagerly awaiting) it is an absolutely delightful read!

Audiobook - a cute story 🫖❤️ Some twists but characters jived just right. I would absolutely read another book with Vera. Mostly made me hungry with all the food descriptions.
