another story well told, mr. rick riordan.

i had high expectations going into daughter of the deep, and while i won't cherish this one like the nostalgia-tinged percy jackson or the close-to-my-heart magnus chase or even the delightfully weird and fantastical kane chronicles, i thoroughly enjoyed it.

i think if it was a series and i got to know all the characters just a little better, it would reach that level. please don't get ...more

I loved this story as much as any other Rick Riordan book and it was awesome. Not to be a letdown but I do not like Sci-Fi. I've never been able to get into it which is why I loved this book. I loved the aspect of science and I love the connection to 20,000 leagues under the sea, this book fits them together in a way that I loved. It was so creative and was definitely worth reading.
