This book is .. I don't even know how to describe it? Eerily poetic?

There's no doubt that McConaghy is an amazingly talented writer. She writes so poetically about tragedy.

Magical realism? Perhaps?

Overall I enjoyed, but it does have some dark/traumatic themes running throughout so be aware of those. ...more
