I was very excited to read a mainstream YA romance fantasy set in Seoul and inspired by Korean lore. It was a gripping read, like a Kdrama, angsty but rather chaste. The heroine Gu Miyoung is a gumiho, a sort of a nine tailed fox demon who must eat human livers to survive. However, she is a conflicted character who tries to feed only on bad people.
