Liked it in the sense that it opened up umpteen parallel possibilities to my mundane existence. But it could have been better. In some places, found it predictable and dragging.

This story is about a girl, Nora Seed, who decides to end her life because she thinks she is worthless and is adding no value to anyone around her and she thinks her life isn't perfect and she's full of regrets.

When she overdoses on pills, she dreams of a Library where all the books are doorways to all the different lives she could have lived and all the regrets in her mind where she made a different decision.

I was pulled in right from the beginning. Nora is having a shit day that ends up being the straw that broke the camel's back of a shitty existence as of late. Now she has decided she is done.

”The only way to learn is to live.”

Lovely and insightful. Believing that the there’s no one left in the world who needs her, Nora overdoses. She ends up in “The Midnight Library” where she’s surrounded by books. The books represent different lives she could have had if different choices were made. All except a few, one of those being the Book of Regrets.
