I asked the librarian for her recommendations, and she didn’t hesitate to give me this one. I am so glad she did.

This one had it all. I laughed, cried, and was thoroughly entertained. I hope the message of this on stays with me always.

In this book we meet Auggie, a boy who was born different, yet was as normal as any other. What makes him and his family so special is the way people respond to him once they get to know him.

This is a great book. Finished it in one sitting. It's so nice to see Auggie's transformation during his first year at school. The bullying and the taunting were horrible but I'm so glad Auggie has friends who stood up for him. I cried when reading Daisy's part because I went through almost exactly that and even though that happened many years back, I was so emotional and broke down when (view spoiler) All in all, love this book. Shelves: favorites, choice-awards

This is my second reading of this book. I read it 3 years ago and this month my book club selected it. I decided to reread it. I enjoyed it as much this time around as I did the first time. This is a must read for all upper elementary/middle age students. It is a wonderful story that helps all readers be more accepting of all people. My grandson just started 5th grade and he informed me today when he saw wht I was reading that his teacher is reading Wonder to the class. Kudos to that teacher.
