My first Jenny Han book and it was unputdownable! Such a quick read but I got immersed in Lara Jean's world, I really cared about the characters. I need to read Jenny Han's other stuff now. Loved it.

Quando decido ler um livro Young Adult, na maior parte das vezes é porque foi recomendado por um dos meus booktubers favoritos. Normalmente não aprecio estas leituras mas tenho a tendência a ler na mesma. Neste caso, achei um livro muito bom. Muito honesto e realista ao contrário da maior parte dos romances juvenis que leio. Este livro tem algo que muito especial. Lara Jane é fantástica, uma personagem muito bem construída e equilibrada. Não esperava ficar tão conectada a ela e aos seus amigos.

No idea why people like this book. 2 stars for Kitty because she is the only character I like best.
Another quintessential ya book: sweet and naive with all the boy drama a teenage girl could ask for. I see why Jenny Han’s books are so popular. She truly captures the voice and thoughts of a adolescent girl. I couldn’t give it more than three stars just because I found it long and drawn out. I surely would have adored it as a teen though.
