This book was amazing. Its been a long time since I've read a book and cried.

The Fault in Our Stars is not a sad love story. Its a life story about the lives of kids, young growing kids suffering from cancer.

Kids with cancer who suffer their whole life knowing that someday their life will end. They face that reality everyday. Its a part of their life and who they are. It kind off gives a new perspective to death. All death is beautiful and grace full. and in the end it dose not matter what happ This book was amazing. Its been a long time since I've read a book and cried.

It kind off gives a new perspective to death. All death is beautiful and grace full. and in the end it dose not matter what happen in your life. The only thing that matters is how you live your life and how much you enjoyed it. You live for you not for the whole world.

And I loved this part, my feelings I cant explain in to words so I quote from the book, and it's so true:
“There will come a time when all of us are dead. All of us. There will come a time when there are no human beings remaining to remember that anyone ever existed or that our species ever did anything. There will be no one left to remember Aristotle or Cleopatra, let alone you. Everything that we did and built and wrote and thought and discovered will be forgotten and all of this will have been for naught. Maybe that time is coming soon and maybe it is millions of years away, but even if we survive the collapse of our sun, we will not survive forever. There was time before organisms experienced consciousness, and there will be time after. And if the inevitability of human oblivion worries you, I encourage you to ignore it. God knows that’s what everyone else does.”

People in their teens don't think about stuff like death and how there life is going to end, if their life is going to end. They see their life as an endless road leading to an infinite string of destinations, and they image where it will take them. But no one once stops to think that there maybe a dead-end to that road. It kind off shows how a lot of people take there life for granted and end up wasting it. A lot of teens and even older people take drugs, alcohol,or smoke and do stuff that will kill them or shorten their life to a large extent. But no one thinks about all that. Some people even make their lives more miserable by being depressed and saying or acting like they want to die, like they have nothing to live for. And they don't relies how wrong that is. At any moment anyone can die. Any thing can kill you. Whether its an illness, car accident or an asteroid from outer space. Your life can end any second.

John Green did the opposite in this book. He took an example of really short lives and showed to the world how entirely complete and fulfilling they can be. How two people lived their entire life in the little time that they had. And i quote again:

“Some infinities are bigger than other infinities.”

I would defiantly read this book again and recommend it to my friends. Thanks John Green!

Such a cute book!

I won't lie, I was a little disappointed because I expected to shed some serious tears reading this book, and I didn't, but at any rate - I thoroughly enjoyed it. It seems that many of the books that I've read all seem to be so original and have very similar story lines and plots. If I was still an angsty teenager I probably would have liked the book better. It felt as though the book within the book served mostly as a means to add "good quotes." I just honestly wasn't into it, and the ending seemed rather obvious well before it happened. I didn't love or hate the book, it was just a book for me. So 3 stars. ...more
