My favorite quote from Ray Bradbury and of his concerns over censorship regarding literature and the arts is this great statement. “You don’t have to burn books to destroy a culture. Just get people to stop reading them.”

Two things stick out when you read this novel from sixty years ago. Firstly, how timely it is in the twenty-first century. Second, the language.

The storytelling is poetic in a way that is hardly seen today, especially in a dystopian tale. Then there's the dialogue of the individual characters, most with strange language skills at a time when people no longer have command of a strong vocabulary. Then there's the main character's sinister boss, who speaks with the knowledge of the language of book
