What Members Thought
This was a really hard book to rate. I did not like the first part but the second part was pretty good. The writing is beautiful but if you read this book, keep in mind the writing might not be for everyone. It is hard to write a review on a book that you did not like the first half of but found yourself pretty engaged into the second half. That half is seriously like a 360!

Glad I read reviews of this book before I stopped reading mid-way through. The first half is a sleeper. Second half picks up the pace considerably, but the end was weak. Not crazy about Groff's writing style, although some of it was very clever. Too many questions left unanswered for my taste.

I had an interesting relationship with this book. I could put it down, but I couldn't walk away. It's character-driven, with varying narrative pace. A truly unique approach.
