I’m just finishing this book in as my last book of 2019. I had not heard of this particular maritime disaster and it writes as the one with the most fatalities. This book is a work of historical fiction the talks about the Amber room and the sinking of the Wilhelm Gustloff. I found this book fascinating. I wanted to know what happened to the characters. Definitely worth the read. This is the first one of the authors books I have read. But it will not be the last.
