What Members Thought

This book was well written. It was a good book. But it is very sad and depressing and I wish I hadn't have read it.
I feel like I was watching a diaster and this book was going to detail that diaster. I felt like a gawker, who can't turn away from a very bad situation that happened. Morbid curiosity takes over and you have to watch to the end, knowing nothing is going to be right. I hate gawkers...and now I have led myself into that category. I do not normally enjoy these types of books. I usually don't read sad stories that I know are sad before I start or suicide; however, this was suggested by a student who struggles with depression and I loved it! I think the author did a great job with the writing style and format of the book. It was written like a suspense novel, even though you already knew the worst part.
