Story with several twists and turns. The author surprised me right up to the last few pages. Good mystery.
This is a story of Mia who is kidnapped and the detective who tries to find her. The author does a good job of character development.

An interesting take on a kidnapping story, told in parts from three perspectives in different times (before and after the girl is found); the kidnapper, the detective, and the mother (all done well by three different narrators for the audible recording).

There is a fourth perspective that doesn't occur until the epilogue but you can't really know who as it could spoil things for you. Interesting discoveries in this, some good twists as well.

Great! Didn't expect to Loved it! I love when authors tell a story in the first person from each major character. Great characters......great storyline.....and a great surprise at the end!

Basically a woman is kidnapped and you read from the perspective of the detective, her mother and the kidnapper. It's very clever. I could not put it down. I

Of all the “Girl” novels I’ve read, this novel by Kubica is the thriller that checked off all the boxes to create the perfect psychological read with the perfect twist at the end. 🔥
