Jubilee Express: ✮✮✮✮
This was a quick, but cute short story. I really enjoyed the relationship that developed between Jubilee and Stuart, and Stuart's family. I loved both Rachel (even though she wasn't in the story that much) and Debbie (who was probably my favorite character in the whole story). I thought it was quite funny, the story had me chuckling throughout. Loved it!

I have to admit, I’ve only read one other book by John Green—Paper Towns—and I was impressed with his writing; his narrative voice, the dialogue, and his wit. I gave that book five stars. Definitely one of my favourite books! It couldn't be a more perfect choice for reading something in December and especially in Christmas period. I didn't like Lauren's Myracle story that much, but it was smart that the 3 stories were connected to each other.

If you’re looking to curl up with a comfy blanket, a cup of hot chocolate, and a fluffy read, this will definitely fit the bill. It’s exactly what you’d expect: some sweet YA stories about love during the holidays. The first two stories were considerably stronger than the last, which suffered from featuring a main character who was too unlikable to cheer for or even really care about. Mostly I just wanted her boyfriend to be done with her and find someone better; not exactly what the author was

... I definitely wrote a review for this and goodreads somehow ate it. I always feel the need to defend low ratings, so I hate that the actual review is missing now.
From what I can remember... I enjoyed John Green's piece. Maureen Johnson's was good, and Lauren Myracle's just did not keep my attention at all.
I forget what it was specifically about it, but I remember the narrator being really dramatic and... if this is even possible in books... over-acted. Everything seemed like the end of the ...more
