Is this novel without flaws? No. Do I care? No.

I’m a purposefully slow reader. I like to go back and reread passages that take on a new meaning as the plot unfolds. I reread sentences and paragraphs that I find lyrically charming, imaginatively descriptive. Books to me are like a summer teen romance: our relationship is short-lived, and so I want to draw it out and savor each morsel of it until its inevitable end. Not so with this book. It was Great!!! When this book came out l was not so interested in it because l had read Before l go to Sleep and then Gone Girl and l saw the movies for them too...l was thinking that it was just another knock off that the author was trying....l refused to even buy the book . This was 2015 feelings.
I needed something to read because l was in a rut so l went to the bookstore and was looking for something and there on the shelf was the only copy of this book and l decided what the heck, the movie
