Is this novel without flaws? No. Do I care? No.

I’m a purposefully slow reader. I like to go back and reread passages that take on a new meaning as the plot unfolds. I reread sentences and paragraphs that I find lyrically charming, imaginatively descriptive. Books to me are like a summer teen romance: our relationship is short-lived, and so I want to draw it out and savor each morsel of it until its inevitable end. Not so with this book. I generally stay away from books like this because I am not a fan of this type of genre but oh my word was it good! I want to see the movie so I had to read the book first because we all know the book is always better. Paula Hawkins does a marvelous job with showcasing on how horrible a character that person is to the growth shown in each character from the beginning to the end of this book.
