Great story! Worth the price of admission.

My honest opinion would be that this is not as compelling as it was made out to be. The main character is not someone that I feel particularly sympathetic to. In fact I find her weak and pathetic in a way, and the rest of the characters are not to interesting either. The first half of the book is slow and boring as it deals with the protagonists drunkenness. But the second half becomes more interesting as things move forward.

Really good book. Intense, and holds your interest. I admit I paid too much attention to the dates of each chapter, and not enough to the fact it was being told by the three women. So I had to reread the first 70 pages. Once I caught back up it was easy to keep track. Wish someone had forewarned me it would have been a faster read. So if my review saves one person from doing it, it is worth it. Definitely enjoyed the twists until the end.
