Notate le etichette (tag) che ho apposto a questo libro e capirete il senso del mio giudizio. Leggere Harry Potter, e tutti i libri precedenti che credo siano ben 18, significa davvero essere un bibliomane, un maniaco della magia, del cinema e di tante altre cose connesse alla figura di questo personaggio che ha fatto dell'autrice una delle persone più ricche al mondo. Cappello! un vero genio, anzi una "genia" se esiste il termine.

I loved it even though it was a play script and not a real HP book. What a fun way to continue HP's story. I loved the alternate realities that allowed closure with certain characters. And I loved getting to know the next generation of wizards. This would be such a fun play to see. I wonder if seeing it would ever be a possibility... It can dream. Can't I?

So, truly I'm going to give anything "Harry Potter by JK Rowling" 5 stars because a strange, doesn't-feel-like-canon HP book is worlds better than no HP book at all. But truly--this book really doesn't feel like a true HP book, or like JK's writing even. Being a play makes it feel sparse, missing detail, richness, imagery, and background (I guess we'd expect to get these visually in the theater). I wasn't sure if I could read this story, as I didn't want to lose the magic of Harry Potter, however, I loved it.
Yes, it is a different format, but it still retained all the magic, mystery, adventure and emotional depth. It was great to read further about familiar characters and be introduced to some new ones...I loved Scorpious.
Hope there will be more.
