Despite it being a short book, I couldn't wait to finish it and I actually fell asleep twice while reading it. I want to like this book but I really can't. I liked Meg in the beginning but as the story develops, she got more whiny and irritating. I really couldn't stand her. I felt all the characters and the whole story were under developed. I have had this on my TBR list for a while. I always believe you should read what is considered to be a classic at least once a year.

I personal liked the manga version of this book better. In this version the characters seemed so flat. I wish the details of this were as beautifully portrayed in this version as the manga.

The main characters were Meg, Charles Wallace, and Calvin. They each had character flaws that were hard to work vet look. Meg never seem to get over being a little whiny. Charl
