What Members Thought

I started this book with the intention to read two or three chapters before bed and then go to sleep like a normal person.
This didn't go as I planed considering i stayed up until moring to finish it.
Best book I read this year.
I may do a full review on this one, it was amazing. x ...more

Throw in a kick-ass heroine, a prince who our kick-ass thought was just a nice country boy, and the instant awareness that said KAH has a power that might just make her belong to the enemy side and not a true RED.

I have been holding on to this book for years, waiting for the series to be complete. I even ordered the next books and do plan to read them...
But this book lacked depth. I was told feelings, yet I didn't feel them. Classic case of not showing but telling. It felt more like a chronology of events.

“I am finally learning my lesson. Anyone can betray anyone.”
So well explained...
“I can’t believe I didn’t see him for what he was from the beginning: a wolf in sheep’s clothing. And now I’m the sheep pretending to be a wolf.”
That's what you get when you trust someone. Damn
"The truth doesn't matter. It only matters what the people believe"

I loved this book! I could not put it down at all once I started it. it seems like a crossover between hunger games and the selection series,if I had to describe it.now I can't wait to get my hands on the rest of the series

I can't believe it took me so long to find this book. I loved this book, and I'm anxious to listen to the next book on Audible.
Rereading it 5 years later. Still just as good! ...more
