Cassandra Clare, you wreck me every single time I read one of your books! Lady Midnight was absolutely extraordinary, I enjoyed every second of of it. I had a few doubts with Emma's character at first, but she really proved herself to me through the course of the book, and by the end I was laughing and crying with her. Julian (oh sweet lord, Julian) was one of the best male protagonists I'd ever read! He had so much depth, and love for his family. He and Emma were such a good team. Mark was also ...more
