Shelves: rape, romance, teens, friendships-group-books

Okay I adored the movie, was fantastic.
So I got the book from the library.

Not as impressed. Was almost identical, but it just all seemed so rushed in the book. Sooo many heavy topics, so many characters, none really major, other than Charlie, Sam, Patrick.

I dunno. Just not one of my faves.

I enjoyed "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" but I'm kind of lost on where I stand with this. I looked forward to reading it - having heard so much about the book and how it is such a fantastic read. But I'm confused... I kept on wanting to finish the book, but it took me so long to actually finish it. I wasn't motivated, nor was I really interested in finishing.
