What Members Thought

Definitely enjoyed the roman twists, the seeing of characters from the first series, how intertwined it all was.

This book starts out very creatively to introduce new characters and revitalize the series. Riordan has penned something great again! When you get to Camp Half-Blood, more mysteries surface, which helps to reinvent the setting for this series. It does not even hint of Harry Potter as the last series did. This book breaks the mold. Riordan tells the story in three different voices, and it works suprprinsingly well. It adds to the excitment. Riordan is excellent at unfolding his plots so that you

DAYUM! I should've not read this until the series is done. But no! I was a fool, and now and i want the next book desperately! The next months will be hell. Holy Haephaestus!

Finally, I get to read a book that is not told from Percy's perspective. Don't hate me but I don't like him that much. I actually like Jason better because he acts more mature. I don't really care much about Piper but Leo's ok when he's not making lame jokes.

I could NOT put this book down! Rick Riordan seriously delivered once again. If you liked the Percy Jackson series, you must read this book (and the others, but I think that the first two are the only ones out as of the time of this review). It sort of picks up where the final Percy Jackson book left off, but there are some new characters and a big twist this time around. The lives of the demigods at Camp Half Blood will never be the same.
