After reading this book again after almost 3 years, I'm going to have to change my rating from 4 stars to 2 stars. Honestly, the only character I enjoyed was Simon, but even then, Simon wasn't all that amazing either. The way Clare wrote her characters did not catch my attention this time around and genuinely bored me to death. 2020 reread
Rewatched the movie n tvshow and now rereading.
Still love it. A wonderful first book that really pulls you in with its characters

Wow its been awhile since I read this. Didn't think it had been that long. Rereading mainly cause of the tv show. Im one of the weirdo's who likes differences.
Gotta say I still love the book. Especially the Jace/Clary Dynamic.
Unfortunately, Simon in the movie, tv show and book ANNOYS ME lmao.
