I got to read this aloud with my 10 year old. It was magical. She loved different things than I did but that even made it more special. Love that I get to do this journey again.

Characters-10The characters in this were great. Anne is a charming character, and definitely  a fellow kindred spirit. I enjoyed Marilla and Matthew, and how they treated Anne in this book. Diana was a sweet character, and  a great friend to Anne.

Setting/Atmosphere-10I've never been to PEI, but I enjoyed the setting in this. I loved how much of the area you saw through Anne's eyes.

Writing-9

The writing in this was charming. The whimsical writing style ad

How times have changed.)

It is a lovely story and the writing is good, it just didn't c
