Not as entertaining as the first book. I didn’t care all that much about the quest, and didn’t find the journey all that interesting. However, I did enjoy seeing more into the world Riordan has built. I loved Tyson and Percy’s relationship. And I feel excited about what was set up for the rest of the series.

Shelves: action-strong-lead-women-heroines, soldiers-n-cops, seers-future-readers, friendships-group-books, immortals, gods-n-goddesses, sirens-muses-and-seductresses, abuse-kidnapping-murder-non-crime, amnesia-coma-ptsd

hmmmmm not to shabby. I cant help but love all of the mythology rolled together.

This one had a few twists, introduced two new people, I figure will be major players.
