This book started out too similar to Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix with the evil new activities director who has a thing against our hero and constantly twists things to work against Percy. Even the kids see him as an outcast. Things started to get much better as the quest began. Percy's feelings deal with embarrassment is discovering who his brother is and trying to fit in to Camp Half-Blood. Other kids think he's a glory hog (just like Potter deals with), and his favorite teacher i ...more

hmmmmm not to shabby. I cant help but love all of the mythology rolled together.

This one had a few twists, introduced two new people, I figure will be major players.

Another good quick read from this series. I enjoy how these books always keep me turning the pages. They go so quickly and are packed with lots of adventures.
