My sister made me read it!

Despite being written in first person, which I normally don't enjoy,and despite my reservations about the poor character development that seems consistent throughout books which are part of a series; I really did quite like this. Not at all the rip-off of Battle Royale that I expected and a fairly decent and insightful social commentary to boot. ...more

I LOVED this book!... Kinda mad at myself for not reading it sooner. The author is amazing at providing readers with just enough decriptive details without hindering their imagination or becoming overly complicated, which allows the readers to really get caught up in the story and the characters in their own ways.
