Shelves: favorites, dystopian
I finally got around to start reading this trilogy. I started at one point earlier but never finished because I was preoccupied, however now that it's going to be a movie soon I figured it was about time to start over.

It's brilliant. I know that people might be weary when it comes to books that are as hyped as The Hunger Games, but this one deserves it.
The book describes a dystopia that is equal parts terrifying and believable, and the character development makes you care.

I LOVED this book!... Kinda mad at myself for not reading it sooner. The author is amazing at providing readers with just enough decriptive details without hindering their imagination or becoming overly complicated, which allows the readers to really get caught up in the story and the characters in their own ways.
