This was a reread for me, but I really enjoyed it. Characters-9-I really enjoy all of SJM's characters. I think she writes characters that are flawed, but ones that you want to root for. Atmosphere- 8- I wanted the atmosphere in this story to be a little more. I enjoyed what was there, but still wanted to be brought into the world by the atmosphere more. So, I didn’t dislike Celaena, which is apparently something that happens less and less nowadays. When I first saw the reviews for this book I was pretty intrigued because of all the raving about it. Either you really, really love it, or your feelings fall on the other end of the spectrum.
Me? I’m so so.
