What Members Thought

This has always been my favourite in the Harry Potter series because it really shows just how 'good' Harry is - selfless, brave and determined.
This series is also an argument for genes rather than environment, as who amongst us could develope such strength of character having to live with people like the Dursleys?
I loved the action and the introduction new characters, despite death and mayhem and deception.
Overall, a brilliant story.

I enjoyed finally reading this book. Comparing it to the movie, this book is filled with a lot of detail and scenes that were cut from the movie. Such as the scenes including Ludo Bagman and the house elves, which in my opinion should have been cut. They dragged the story on longer than it needed to be, in my opinion. However, I would've included the scenes with Sirius. I'm sad they cut those from the movie version. Could it be because Sirius Black is one of my favorite characters in these books
