I loved this book, and I am not into zombies AT all. I'm not into Walking Dead, and I don't watch zombie movies or read zombie books, so I didn't know how I would feel about this. R is such a unique love interest, and that alone sets this book apart from just about any book out there. He somehow really takes you into the mind of a zombie, but not in a way that is just disgusting.

Loved it! Seriously, I think this has been the most enjoyable zombie novel I have ever read. Some of the characters had their 'ehhh' moments, but I really love following R and how hard he tried to become something other than what he was apparently fated to be. The last few scenes with the battles and all of the excitement that comes after were great. I was kept at the edge of my seat waiting to find out what was going to happen - if all of the zombies were somehow able to mutate back to humanity
