A bit Pacific Crest Trail (PCT), a bit carving the path from the before to the after, or as Strayed says, “From Lost to Found”.

Wild by Cheryl Strayed has been on my wish list TBR for some time. I’m so happy my friend Richie gifted me a copy for my birthday this year. I had other reading plans but Wild kept calling me, so I abandoned my other reading plans and dove in.

I did not expect to read so many negative reviews about this book. I guess all that matters is that I enjoyed it. Unlike others, I saw Cheryl as brave and courageous for attempting this trail. Many doubted her along the way, just because she was a woman, but she pressed on despite being ill-prepared.

I relate to going through this twenty-something life crisis, when it feels like the weight of the world is pressing down. Sometimes, we all need to try a new experience for us to have a breakthrough ...more
