This is a great introduction to manga. Fushigi Yugi is the story of a middle school girl who gets sucked into a story. This tale is pretty much custom made for book lovers. Plus, the author went through and added little notes in the margins so you get a really awesome perspective of the cultural relevance of different things. Such a fun and awesome read.
