This book is perfectly okay. I never felt emotionally connected with the story or the characters, but the space adventure is a fun narrative. The humor is a bit absurdist, and it was hit or miss for me, but there are definitely amusing parts. It is relatively short and easy enough to follow. I just wish it had a little something more. More action, more jokes, or more heart, I'm not quite sure, but something that made me feel more strongly about some aspect of the writing.
